Call for Applications: Paramnesia Lab Residency 2025.

 

The interdisciplinary creative company Metamorfina invites creators working in the performing arts, video art, performance, visual arts, music, sound composition, multimedia art, and dramaturgy to participate in the Paramnesia Lab Residency 2025, which will take place in Querétaro, Mexico, starting January 15, 2025, at Metamorfina's Creation House.

 

Residency Objective

To foster interdisciplinary collaboration and creation through experimental processes that bring together body, image, and/or sound, promoting projects that reflect on identity, perception, and narratives of reality in the contemporary context.

 

Open to national and international artists interested in developing a creative or research project for a period of 1 to 3 months.

The residency offers accommodation at Metamorfina's interdisciplinary art residency house. Workspace. Artistic support and creative guidance. Dissemination of the process and results. Exhibition or workshop open to the public at the end of the residency.

 

Note The residency does not offer direct financial support. However, upon request, the resident artist may propose holding a workshop or presentation in one of our spaces, with the possibility of charging admission and retaining 70% of the proceeds to help cover expenses.

 

Selected participants will be responsible for covering their own transportation, materials, and food expenses.

 

Participation Fee

The residency costs $30,000 MXN for a full three-month period, or $10,000 MXN per month for shorter residencies.

 

Residency Periods 2025

The residency is organized into three three-month periods, with a one-month break between each, allowing each artist or collective to focus on their creative process.

 

First period: January 15 to April 15, 2025

Second period: May 15 to August 15, 2025

 

Third period: September 15 to December 15, 2025 Each resident may request a stay of 1 to 3 months within any of the aforementioned periods.

 

Application requirements Interested parties must submit the residency application form before November 30, 2025.
