ABOUT THE WORK

Body-to-body contact isn't limited to an act of presence or physical contact; rather, it implies an act of loss, a capacity to step outside ourselves to reach out to the other. "Something is lost and something is gained bodily."

The Sentir intervention invites the viewer into an interactive experience in which the decisions they make as they navigate the space will shape the work. This stage device places the viewer as a co-author of the work.

The ability to "gain and lose" control over the elements that make up the experience (light, audio, and projected image) becomes a metaphor for what we are willing to give and receive when we come into contact with another.

THE TEXT

The text serves as a guiding thread that tells the story of "Him and Her," two lovers who face the decision of whether they want to stay together or separate.

The text presents a realistic and objective situation, while the sensory elements activated by the movement of the viewer's body in the space reveal the emotions and feelings experienced by the characters.
